Privacy Policy

Short version: your calculations never leave your browser, and we do not sell data. The detail is below.

Last updated: 16 September 2026

1. Calculations stay on your device

The right triangle solver runs entirely as client-side JavaScript. The sides, angles and areas you enter are processed in your browser's memory and are never transmitted to us, logged, or stored on any server.

Closing or refreshing the page discards them completely.

2. Information you choose to send

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. That information is used solely to reply to you and is retained only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry.

3. Technical information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp. This is used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic measurement.

We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Local browser storage may be used to remember interface preferences, such as your chosen language or decimal precision. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

5. Third-party processors

Contact form submissions are delivered through a form-relay provider, and the site is served by a hosting provider. Each processes only the data strictly required to perform that function.

6. Children's privacy

This site is suitable for students of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The calculator itself requires no personal information whatsoever.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you have sent us, and you may object to its processing. Contact us and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

8. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be reflected in the revision date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
